Consultation

Prior to any treatment being performed, a consultation is needed to discuss treatment aims and suitability. A medical history and consent form will need to be filled out. Photographs will be taken before and after the procedure.

How the procedure is performed

A small puncture hole is made in the skin so a micro cannula can be inserted into the deep dermis. Not only are micro cannulas considered the safer way to distribute the product but they also cause minimal discomfort and are used to create a smooth distribution of the product.

Microcannulas offer multiple advantages over the hypodermic needle technique which include less bruising and minimal pain. One injection site is required in most treatment cases which therefore means a greater reduction in side effects.
