hyperhidrosis for women

Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can be treated using Botox with minimum discomfort. Injections can reduce overactive sweat gland activity in the armpits, palms of hands and the soles of your feet and has a history of working very well to do so.

Excessive sweating

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, can seriously affect your daily life. The sweating can occur in unusual situations, such as in cooler weather, or without any trigger at all. It can also be caused by other medical conditions, such as menopause or hyperthyroidism. That might be difficult when you struggle with excessive sweating. In the case of the excessive sweating Botox treatment, our objective is to help relax the muscles that are responsible for your excessive sweating issue.

The aesthetician  will take a look at your medical history and background, and together we will decide which treatment will suit you best. There are four areas that you can treat:

  • The armpits
  • The feet
  • The palms
  • The forehead

We apply a topical anaesthetic to numb the areas that will be treated. These areas will be thoroughly cleaned and the Aesthetician will prick the areas with a thin, sterilised needle to inject Botulinum toxin into the skin. You’ll notice the initial results within 3 to 4 days. You’ll experience the final results within 14 days.
